• Certain power plants can only burn certain grades
  of coal

• Removes most of the polluting components of coal
• Re-usable chemicals
• Produces electricity, steam, and hydrogen
• Very expensive
• Technology is not sufficient enough for a wider
  scale
• Less coal same energy
• Converts coal to gas

• Collects ash out of the air before it leaves the
  stack
