Teachers Awards

• Gymnastics
• Introductory 10 hours
• Intermediate Primary 12 hours
• Intermediate Secondary 12 hours
• Advanced 12 hours
• Open to teaching assistants as well provided they
  have a leadership award (i.e. CSLA) and complete
  a period of post course supervision by a
  qualified teacher or coach
• Also open to student teachers completing a
  teaching degree or PGCE

• Trampoline
• Level 1 12 hours
• Level 2 - 12 hours exam
• Only open to qualified secondary PE teachers and
  trainee teachers who are at least 2 thirds of the
  way through their teacher training
• Cheerleading
• Level 2 Basic Cheer Skills 6 hours
• Level 3 Basic Stunts 8 hours
• courses are the same for teachers and coaches

• Primary Gymnastics
• NGB recommended competition structure
• 3 levels of competition based on ability / age
• 3 stations per level
• Work cards with teaching points
• DVD with routines and individual skills

• Will be available in a range of disciplines
• Trampoline pack is currently available
• Acrobatics and Cheerleading will be available in
  next few months.
• 3 levels of competition based on ability
• Work cards with teaching points
• DVD with routines and individual skills

Leadership Awards

• Helpers Award
• 6 hour course
• Aged 13
• Generic across all disciplines
• Option of completing mentored hours and log book
• Event officiating Award
• 3 hour course
• Aged 13
• Generic across all disciplines
• Looks at the roles needed to run a gymnastics
  event / competition
• Candidates must volunteer at an event in order to
  complete the award

• Currently only available for key step gymnastics.
