  • Statements that are known with certainty. (Can be
    objectively verified)
  • Opinions are not facts
  • Facts should be objectively reported (no
    persuasive language)

  • Provide support for conclusions
  • Should appear in the Findings section

Conclusions
  • Statements of reasoning made after a thorough
    investigation
  • Must be based on the findings/facts
  • No new data should appear in the Conclusions
  • Conclusions must relate to specific fact(s)

Recommendations
  • Suggestions about the action(s) that may be taken
    to solve the problem that was studied
  • Should develop logically from the conclusions
  • May be listed and numbered. An introductory
    sentence may be used.
