• Religion- Spain is a Catholic country and many
  holidays are based around their religion
• Family- Family is the most important thing to
  Spanish people, most children live with their
  parents into their twenties
• Night Life- Spanish people enjoy time with
  friends at places like discotecas, restaurants,
  and bars

• Music is a huge part of the Spanish culture
• There music types range from Flamenco to Pop
  music. The Guitar is a large part of music in
  Spain. It can be used in all types of music, and
  was even first invented in Spain. Many famous
  artists have come from Spain including Enrique
  Iglesias and Paula Rubia.

Government

• Franco led Spain in a dictatorship from 1939-1975
• After his death, Juan Carlos took over, and
  changed Spain to a democracy
• In 1996, Jose Maria Azner took over under the
  conservative party
• Spain still has problems with a terrorist group
  called ETA who are former supporters of Franco
  and who want to be their own country
