Hebrews 11-2

• In the past God spoke to our forefathers through
  the prophets at many times and in various ways,
  but in these last days he has spoken to us by his
  Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and
  through whom he made the universe.

God Speaks by the Holy Spirit through BIBLE

• 1. God REVEALS Himself, His Plans, His Ways.
• 2 Tim. 316-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and
  is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and
  training in righteousness, 17so that the man of
  God may be thoroughly equipped for every good
  work.

God Speaks by the Holy Spirit through PRAYER

• 2. An INTIMATE Two-Way Communications with God.
• Romans 826-27 In the same way, the Spirit helps
  us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought
  to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes
  for us with groans that words cannot express.
  27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind
  of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for
  the saints in accordance with God's will.

CIRCUMSTANCES

• 3. See all Situations from Gods PERSPECTIVE.
• Romans 828 And we know that in all things God
  works for the good of those who love him, who
  have been called according to his purpose.

Saul Vs Davids Perspective

• 1 Samuel 1711 On hearing the Philistine's words,
  Saul and all the Israelites were dismayed and
  terrified.
• 1 Samuel 1732 David said to Saul, "Let no one
  lose heart on account of this Philistine your
  servant will go and fight him."

• 4. Realize the BODY is Mutually Interdependent.
• Romans 125 so in Christ we who are many form one
  body, and each member belongs to all the others.
• John 1016 I have other sheep that are not of
  this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too
  will listen to my voice, and there shall be one
  flock and one shepherd.

If you are not hearing God, You may be

• Greaving the Holy Spirit
• Ephes. 430 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of
  God, with whom you were sealed for the day of
  redemption.
• To pain to offend to vex to sadden the Holy
  Spirit because of sin

If you are not hearing God, You may be

• Quenching the Holy Spirit
• 1 Thes. 519 Do not quench the Spirit.
• To put out the Holy Spirits Fire, to stifle, to
  snuff out, to stop

• Hebrews 47b "Today, if you hear his voice, do
  not harden your hearts."
• 2 Peter 318 But grow in the grace and knowledge
  of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be
  glory both now and forever! Amen.
