• There are four seasons in a year
• Spring
• Summer
• Autumn
• Winter
• The weather is different in each season
• The temperatures are different
• The type of precipitation is different
• The types of clothes you wear are different

• Spring is the season between summer and winter
• It tends to rain quite often during spring
• Spring is the season when most plants begin to
  grow
• Spring begins on March 20th in the Northern
  Hemisphere

• Summer is the season between spring and autumn
• Summer is the warmest season
• Summer begins on June 21st in the Northern
  Hemisphere
• Many people like to go boating and swimming
  during the summer

• Autumn is the season in between summer and winter
• Leaves begin to change colors on the trees and
  eventually fall off.
• Autumn is also called fall
• Autumn begins on September 21st in the Northern
  Hemisphere
• During autumn kids enjoy raking leaves into piles
  and jumping into them

• Winter is the season between fall and spring
• Winter is the coldest season
• Winter begins on December 21st in the Northern
  Hemisphere
• It snows during the winter season
• During the winter kids like to build snow forts,
  and snow men. They also like to make snow angels,
  and go sledding
