  • The Ups and Downs of Washington
  • One of the ups is the place called The Space
    Needle. The neat parts about it are the food and
    the view. The view is of downtown Seattle, the
    piers, Pikes Place Market, and Tacoma. Speaking
    of Pikes Place, thats another up of Washington.
    Another up is that our sports teams are the best
    in the west. The Sonics made it all the way to
    the finals. Last year the Mariners made it to
    the finals. Well thats about it for the ups.

  • Gday mates. We are from Blayney, New South
    Wales, Australia and we are writing to YOU, the
    world. We are a computing class of years 8
    9s at Blayney High School. There are 16 in our
    class and only 4 being boys.
  • Were an 8th grade class of international
    students. We come from many places such as New
    Caledonia, Canada, Switzerland, America, England
    and, of course, France. We have between 32-36
    hours of class per week. Our average day starts
    at 8 a.m and finishes at 5p.m except on
    Wednesdays and Saturdays when we finish at noon.

  • We have now picked out the place to describe and
    write about. It will be the very old and famous
    castle in Kalmar. The castle is more than 800
    years, and with a lot of towers, rooms for kings
    and queens, and deep down the prison holes. After
    two discussions these are the words we forward

    secret door, canons, paintings, towers, wooden
    floor, kings.
