Caddo-Pine Island Field is situated in
northwestern Louisiana with its western edge near
the Louisiana-Texas state line a portion of the
field underlies Caddo Lake. Oil was discovered in
the field in 1904, and has produced over 369
million barrels of oil equivalent of oil
(mid-1998).
