  • Compliance Backbone networks must be v6
    capable
  • NOAA AOP Milestone
  • Implementation plan was due end of Q4 06
  • Committed to really finish it by end of Q2 07

  • Transferred our /32 address block to DoC on

  • A contiguous /35 block is reserved for NOAA
  • NOAA will internally manage the address space at
    its discretion

  • NAC IPv6 subgroup established on April 6, 2006
  • Initial Q4 milestone missed current Q2
    milestone at risk
  • Document is approximately 5 complete
  • Previously briefed _at_ 20 but scope now better
    understood
  • Insufficient additional resources are being
    expended
  • Project coordination via dotProject is
    unpopulated
  • Increased focus is needed
  • Suggest a Task Force posture bring team
    together!
  • Revised plan completion target March 30, 2007

    softening in face of realization of cost,
