Sportsmanship Awards Program
  • The FHSAA is undergoing a complete overhaul of
    this program.
  • New slogan Play Strong. Play Hard. Play Fair.
  • Sportsmanship committee created to advise
    direction of new campaign.

Hall of Fame nomination process
  • Nominations for Class of 2006 due in November
  • 2006 induction ceremony will take place Sunday,
    April 2 in Gainesville
  • Schools are encouraged to nominate
    student-athletes
  • Student-athletes must have been graduated for at
    least 10 years to be eligible for nomination

All-Sports Awards Program
  • Overall, boys and girls standings computed for
    Classes 6A, 5A and 4A, and public and private
    divisions in Classes 3A, 2A and 1A
  • 28 FHSAA-sponsored sports programs are scored,
    including recently instituted programs in
    bowling, flag football, boys volleyball, girls
    boys water polo, and girls weightlifting

Academic All-State Awards Program
  • Minimum qualifications
  • Must be graduating senior
  • Must have minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA on an
    unweighted 4.0 scale and
  • Must have earned varsity letters in at least two
    (2) sports in each of his or her junior and
    senior years.
  • Nomination forms mailed to member schools in
    mid-January
  • Nominations must be postmarked not later than
    Mar. 1
  • 24 members of the FHSAA Academic All-State Team
    announced in mid-April
  • FHSAA Male Female Scholar-Athletes of the Year
    announced at the banquet in June

  • Spring water polo, flag football, boys
    volleyball, softball, baseball
  • Team Data Form for Official Souvenir Program
    Press Booklet and team photo due in FHSAA office
    at 9 a.m. the morning following the Regional
    Quarterfinal round of the playoffs
  • Exceptions are water polo, boys volleyball and
    flag football, which are due at 5 p.m. Wednesday
    before district tournaments
  • FHSAA Finals Up-To-Date Statistics due not
    later than noon Monday following Regional Finals
  • Exceptions are baseball (due noon Wednesday
    after Regional Finals) and water polo, boys
    volleyball and girls flag football (due noon
    Wednesday after FHSAA Finals Play-In round)
  • ALL ITEMS MUST BE SENT VIA E-MAIL TO

    blurry when printed
