THEORY BEHIND USING CAR ALARM SENSOR
  • Microwave sensor in car detects disturbance
    entering field (moving objects)
  • In case of helicopter rescues, radar moves and
    ground stationary
  • Relativity gt ground can move (entering
    disturbance) rescuer stationary

    adjustable perimeters
  • Outer perimeter 15ft
  • Inner perimeter 10ft
  • Rescuers body and harness fully contained within
    danger zone (not crossing inner perimeter)

  • Utilize the warning trigger output in alarm
  • Equivalent to terrain crossing into warning
    region
  • Use green LED output for basis of our LED system
  • Concerns exist with presence of rescuer inside
    danger region
  • If its a problem, dont utilize red LED into our
    design
  • Otherwise can use danger trigger output to cause
    faster blinking for distance sensor design
