  who meet the eligibility criteria will take the
  X1 tests for each subject at their grade

• Writing is March 3-14
• Reading, Math, Science is May 5-June 6

Assessor Responsibilities (during/after testing)

• Rate the student accurately
• Meet with the principal to sign and date the
  Assessor Rating Sheet
• Submit accurate student scores online
• Maintain security of all test materials

Administering the Tests

• It is imperative that the test administrator
  (Assessor 1) read the prompt to the student as
  written. It may be read as many times as
  necessary and before each item if needed.
• The tests may be administered over several days
  if necessary.

• All items (7 for writing test) are to be
  presented to all students
• Scripts must be followed exactly as written with
  no additional prompting or rephrasing

Accommodations p. 13-14

• Accommodations may be made for individual
  students for presentation or for responding if
  the accommodations are routinely used in the
  students instruction
• If its not listed on the chart, fill out and
  submit the Accommodation Notification form

Adapting materials p. 15

• Objects may be used instead of pictures (p. 15)
• Adaptations may be made only to manipulatives,
  not the content of the item or the script

Student test books

• Both Assessors will receive a test booklet for
  each student which contains the test items, the
  script necessary to present the items and the
  Assessor Rating Sheet to record the observed
  student performance.

Other Materials

• All Assessor 1s will receive one manipulative kit
  per grade level for their X1 students.
• Assessor 1s may preview the kit (not the student
  test book) in a secure setting prior to the test
  administration to allow for time to make
  accommodations to the materials if necessary

• All components of the kit must be kept secure,
  including any materials that were manipulated
