ME234/2
  • Design Changed due to low resistance measurements
    found on Aging Chamber
  • - Deleted Isolation Strip, replaced with 200
    micron wire, Redesigned Spacer Bars.
  • - Frame Drawings in process Drawing updates
    for design changes to follow.
  • P2(ME234/2 pre-production)Panel Production in
    Progress
  • - Cathode panels glued and ready for component
    assembly
  • - Anode panel gluing to start 6/22/99
  • - Frame available from Wisc. to be delivered
    this week
  • - Hope to complete assembly mid July, schedule
    is tight.
  • Production Status
  • - Panels 1428 panels received 200 yet due
    from initial production order Expect about 28
    per week to come in. Order for balance (1800)
    of panels in process.
  • - Lab 8 Some problem obtaining accuracy
    between Axxiom and Gerber Machines on initial 14
    panels. Improved registration process on Gerber
    to be tried on next 28 panels beginning 6/22/99.
  • -MP9 Production planned to start in October
    Clean room being assembled Vacuum and Gas
    supply system to follow Most tooling is
    available.

  • ME1/2
  • - Chamber Design in final stages To complete
    by 7/1/99.
  • - P4 prototype to be built by October, 1999.
  • ME2/1
  • - P3 and P3 - Design drawings complete
    Drawings presently being converted to Production
    Drawings Some changes to be made based on Aging
    chamber experience.
  • - P3 prototype being readied to send to UCLA for
    testing Crate is now available.
  • P3 Chamber Kit parts and Tooling are on order
    and being accumulated Expect to have all
    available and ready for shipment to PNPI by
    September, 1999.
  • ME1/3 ME3/1
  • - Designs previously started and set aside each
    about 50 complete Will be revisited once above
    designs completed. Expect to finish designs by
    October, 1999
