  • Global Warming
  • Deforestation

6
Reduce the Threats
  • Education
  • Build more environmentally safe products
  • Stop cutting trees down

7
River Otters Habitat
  • River otters live around Canada and the United
    States
  • Another area they could be found in is Rio Grande
    and Colorado River in Mexico

.
8

    invertebrates
  • They also eat fish and frogs

9

    March to April
  • There are usually 2 to 3 pups
  • They weigh around 4 to 8 ounces

10
Threats
  • Throwing wastes in the water that they swim in
  • Destroying Habitats
  • Hunting for there fur

11
Reduce the Threats
  • Stop throwing wastes in the water
  • Not to destroy habitats
  • Not to hunt the otters

12
Eastern DiamondbackHabitat
  • Its found in the southeastern part of the United
    States
  • Its range is from southern areas of North

14
Eastern DiamondbackBreeding
  • The babies can be to 12 to 15 inches long
  • They can live up to 20 years

15
Threats
  • Destroying Habitats
  • habitat fragmentation that is when the landscape
is broken up by roads, development and
    agriculture, the rattlesnake is brought
    increasingly into contact with humans

16
Reduce the Threats
  • Reduce destroying habitats
  • Build less roads

17
Fragrant Prickly-Apple
18
Fragrant Prickly-Apple Habitat
  • The fragrant prickly-apple requires sunlight to
thrive, but prefers partial sunlight, and can
grow on dry sandy soil. In these conditions they
can grow to about 5 meters tall and can rest its
    long stems over surrounding plants.

19
Fragrant Prickly-Apple Nutritional Requirements
  • The Fragrant Prickly-Apple is autotrophic and
requires sunlight and water to perform
    photosynthesis.

20
Fragrant Prickly-Apple Life Cycle
  • It is perennial, which means a seed is planted
once and as long as the habitat stays the same,
the cactus will continue to grow every year.

21
Threats/Solutions to Such
  • Due to human urbanization, the plant has become
scarce in the only environment it can survive in.
  • This plant was considered endangered on 1
November, 1985. There is not much being done to
amend the endangerment, but a revision plan
became effective in May of 1999.
