Barracudas are found inland and out in the deep
ocean.
They are found in tropical waters, some may swim
in cold water
Barracudas travel in schools most of the time

THEY ARE BORN AT ABOUT 3 POUNDS
MALE ADULTS CAN GET TO BE 50 POUNDS
DEPENDING ON SPECIES AND SIZE.
THE RECORD CATCH IS 1031/4 POUNDS, AND 5 1/2 FEET

There are no conclusive records on the life span
of the great barracuda, but based on the length
of girth development of larger species, 14 years
is the estimated time of the life span.
