• Mr. Hughes graduated from the University of North
  Florida with a B.A.E in Elementary Education in
  1979. He received his M.A.E in Elementary
  Education and Reading in 1993 from U.N.F.

• I have 26 years of teaching experience in Clay
  County.
• 21 years at Lakeside Elementary in Orange Park
  (Grades 1,3,4 and 6)
• 5 years at Lake Asbury Elementary in Green Cove
  Springs (Computer resource and 6th Grade Math)

Personal

• I am married and have 3 grown children who all
  graduated from Clay County Schools. My oldest is
  a teacher at Middleburg High.
• I have a pet dog, Chance.
