some are for hobbies,
some for utility,
and some just because they make me smile.

My Favourite Gift

• As a little girl I loved sewing.
• My proud mom passed on her seamstress abilities.
• She gave me the nicest present of all

My Favourite Magazines

• I really enjoy reading magazines of all sorts.
• I subscribe to two
• The New Yorker
• Martha Stewarts Everyday Food
• Between the two, both my mind and my stomach are
  satisfied.

My Favourite Teapot

• I used to work in a homeware store, so I have a
  few lovely teapots.
• My cast iron teapot is my favourite.
• One day I will buy a really fancy cast iron pot,
  but they cost around 200!

My Favourite Holiday Craft

• My parents get up to 300 trick-or-treaters each
  year.
• I like to wow the visitors with my specially
  carved pumpkins.
• (Can you guess who these Canadian Literary
  Jack-o-lanterns are?)

A few friends live with me here in Vancouver the
Madame Alexander Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and
Washington from Welcome Back, Kotter.

• Sadly, most of mine live in Edmonton with my
  parents.
• My mom has informed me that my inheritance is in
  the dolls.

• Ive been playing the ukulele for the past six
  months.
• Im terrible, but it makes me happy.
• I play a passable version of Walking after
  Midnight (with all due respect to Patsy Cline).

• Okay, so she is not an object, but she sure makes
  me happy!
• In September, my friends Jenn and Stephen had a
  new friend for me to play with Cadence.
• Shes really into breast milk, sucking her books,
  and noises.

• He teaches me how to play instruments.
• He has always seen all the movies that I want to
  seeand Im supposed to be the one with the film
  degree.

• Michael and I both collect music.
• We have over 1200 CDs.
• He creates extensive databases for them (and Im
  supposed to be the librarian).
