  Earthquakes, Particle Physics, Fire Ecology,
  etc
• Field Trips to labs and other Science Facilities,
  such as Scripps and UCSD labs
• Work with Mentor Scientists to explore a science
  topic of your choice
• Design, conduct, present your research
