• Within Ordesa National Park

Dates and timings...

• Fri 15th Aug to Sat 30th Aug 2008
• Will leave H.Q. on Friday AM
• Will arrive back at H.Q. on Sat Eve

Travel and Transport...

• Travel using both group and unit minibuses
• All equipment with exception of day bags will be
  transported by European experienced haulage
  company
• Channel crossing Newhaven Dieppe
• PCV licenced drivers abiding to EC directives
• 700 miles, approximately 16-18 hours travelling
  over two days with overnight stop

Eligibility

• Strictly capped to 35 Explorers maximum
• Aged 14 18 years old.
• Fees already subsidised by fundraising so all who
  wish to attend MUST find time to help at
  fundraising events. If unable, those individuals
  fees will be increased by 50

Expeditions...

• 3 or 4 day walking or cycling expedition
• Chief scouts Platinum and Diamond award
• Queen Scout Award
• Lightweight, self sufficient, up to 7 members per
  team
• Two Practice 1 Night Expeditions to be completed
  Feb Half Term and Easter
• No Practices NO GO
• Training in First aid, navigation, expedition
  food and hygiene, load carrying, team leadership,
  survival skills, camping skills and environment
  appreciation (altitude, heat, dangers etc)

• Three Post dated Cheques of 150
• Stapled together with the Explorers name and
  your/payee mobile phone number written on the
  back.
• These will be Banked on the following Dates
• 1st November 2007
