• The general objective to establish a tradition
  of regular basketball championships and
  street-ball tournaments with participation of
  teams from border area municipalities
• Project duration 19 months
• Implementation period 1.03.2006.-1.10.2007.
• Total budget 764212 EUR

• Activities
• Improvement of sports infrastructure to improve
  existing sports infrastructure (sports halls,
  street-ball fields) in order to make up a basis
  for organising regular sports events in region.
• Organising border area basketball championship
  to establish a tradition of regular, annual
  basketball and street-ball championships in the
  border area.
• Popularization of cross-border sports events to
  popularize sport and holiday activities, int. al.
  basketball and street-ball, as well as
  cross-border cooperation facilities in this field
  with mass media, project website and other
  publicity measures.
