3STEP UP INITIATIVE
- STEP UP Scholarship, Training and Education
Program for Tobacco Use Prevention - Funded by the American Legacy Foundation and
administered by the Association of Schools of
Public Health (ASPH) - Targeted 34 eligible, accredited Schools of
Public Health in the U.S. - Goals of STEP UP
- Increase the number of graduate students and
faculty in public health who specialize in
tobacco studies and research - Better integrate tobacco-related issues into
graduate public health education - Build a stronger infrastructure of
tobacco-related education in schools of public
health.
