Dear Customers This edition is to provide an
update to all of our current and prospective
customers in Pakistan on the sale of power
generation equipment during the recent few months
of year 2004. This should be a source of
encouragement to all, that Cummins Power
Generation (CPG) is increasingly capturing a
higher market share in both gas and diesel sets
ranging from 10 kVA to 3000 kVA.

CONTINUES TO REPOSE CONFIDENCE IN CUMMINS Haleeb
Foods has placed an order for 1.6 MW gas set for
its factory in Lahore. This set is currently
under installation and commissioning and shows
the confidence of prudent buyers in Cummins gas
range. The way Cummins gas products with a
significantly higher price tag are making their
presence felt, it augurs well for the quality
conscious customers who look for a high price
performance ratio and want the best value for
their money. UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND
TECHNOLOGY GOES CUMMINS WAY. It is indeed an
honor for Cummins to get a nod and subsequently
an order from UET Lahore. This order is all the
more important given the fact that evaluation of
products was performed by a board of highly
seasoned, technically sound professors and
engineers. This 2x1.16 MW plant will soon be
installed and will Insha Allah herald beginning
of bagful of sales of ! MW Cummins gas products
which is the rating of choice for most
businesses. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL COMPANY CHOOSES
CUMMINS FOR ITS POWER GENERATION. Philips has
recently placed order for four gas sets to meet
its round the clock 365x24 hours power
requirement to keep the wheel of its lamp and
glass factories moving in an uninterrupted
manner. ORDER FROM ATLAS GROUP ATLAS group has
placed an order for 1 MW diesel set for its
factory in SITE Karachi. This set is being
supplied to them through Cummins ready stock in
Kent and / or Jabel Ali, Dubai. Sets of almost
all ratings are readily available from these two
locations with nominal stock premium. ORDER
FROM WHITE OIL PIPELINE Cummins has received an
order for almost 2 MW of diesel sets for WOPP.
Cummins Sales Service (DPS) is doing this
project also with ALSTOM. NEW STOCK Cummins
new stock of 100 kVA, 180 kVA, 250 kVA, 315 kVA,
and 350 kVA has arrived and is available on prior
sales basis. SMALL GAS SETS Cummins has
recently introduced small range of gas sets
ranging from 5 KW right up to 250 KW. Those
interested in acquiring dealership for specially
the very small ones are requested to contact
Cummins Sales Service (DPS) Regional
Managers.

• REPEAT ORDER FROM SHELL PAKISTAN!
• A repeat order is always more satisfying than the
  first one. There is all the more reason to feel
  elated if this repeat order is from a Company of
  Shells status and stature.
• Shell Pakistan has placed a repeat order of 20
  kVA sets on Cummins Sales Service Pakistan.
  Cummins Sales Service will supply these sets,
  install and commission them and provide one
  window warranty coverage.
• Cummins is the only Company in the world which
  offers one stop shop to its customers. This
  originates from the fact that Cummins is the
  largest producer of diesel engines in the world
  in 50 hp to 3000 hp band. Furthermore, Newage
  Stamford alternators, Holset turbochargers,
  Fleetguard filters etc are all completely owned
  subsidiaries of Cummins. In addition to this,
  Cummins makes its own control electronics. This
  makes Cummins a uniquely one window, one stop
  shop Company and ensures that Cummins customers
  do not have to run from pillar to post to get
  respite when things go wrong.
• Shells order is a continuation of last years
  order of 80 sets of 20 kVA and 8 sets of 60 kVA.
  It is expected that Shells requirement will
  swell up to a minimum of 300 sets over a period
  of 2 to 3 years.
• REPEAT ORDER FROM PAKTEL AND INSTAPHONE
• The two giants in telecommunication industry have
  placed a repeat order on Cummins for supply and
  installation of 50 kVA sets, throughout the
  length and breadth of the country. The total
  requirement of these two companies is also
  understood to be well over 100 sets.
• These sets will be provided from Cummins recently
  launched, state of the art, International Specs
  range. This range was unveiled in February 2004
  by Cummins in Cyprus and is ideal for customers
  who just want the very best and can not settle
  for anything less.
• AGHA KHAN HOSPITAL PLACES MORE ORDERS FOR ITS
  COLLECTION CENTERS AND PHARMACIES
• AKUH has placed repeat orders for small sets to
  meet the power requirements of its collection
  units in various locations all over the country.
  This is yet again a vote of confidence in quality
  of Cummins products.
• SHAUKAT KHANUM PLACES A REPEAT ORDER
• Another order from SKMHRC reinforces customers
  confidence in Cummins and its distributor.
• ORDER FROM PAKISTAN STATE OIL
• Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has recently placed an
  order for 50 kVA sets for its prime locations in
  various parts of the country.
