Copying, Moving, Deleting Files

• From the File Manager
• Copy one file highlight file than click and
  drag
• Copying more than one contiguous files click
  first file and move to last file in series and
  shift click, then click and drag
• Copying non-contiguous files click first file
  then Control click the other files than grab any
  file and click and drag.
• If you grab yellow subdirectory folder you will
  create a new directory and all files will be
  copied.
• Windows will move files within same disk.

File Names

• 255 characters with spaces allowed the old way
  was 8 characters long with no spaces
• Three Character extension that is provided by the
  applications we will be using
• Word -- doc
• Excel -- xls
• Access -- mdb
• You can rename a file
