2.CHURCH HISTORY
  • Church began in 1978 in one classroom in Kisutu
    secondary school.

C. Then it moved to Kisutu Primary school.

  • The Church got a plot in 1989 which was later
    revoked.
  • 10 Years later, in 1999, by Gods Grace, the
    church got the present plot where it has
    built its present church.
  • Bishop Ranwell Mwenisongole and his wife Irene,
    are the people behind this vision.

3.The building.
  • It is a modern building focusing on ultra modern
    state of the art architecture.
  • Ground floor has parking initially intended to
    hold 100 cars.
  • Auditorium seating capacity being 2,500 people.
    Located on 1st floor,2nd floor and 3rd floor.
  • A 12 stories Tower with a basement that will
    house Ushindi University dar es salaam branch.
    Currently construction of the frames has gone up
    to 5th floor.

3.1 AUDITORIUM
  • - An ultra modern state-of-the-art auditorium.
  • - Accommodates 2,500 people.

Auditorium in construction stage.

Special consideration has been put on the
following-
  • COMFORT
  • Dar es salaams weather is hot and humid. The
    Auditorium will be
  • fully air conditioned to resolve this.
  • Seats are cushioned to provide extra comfort and
    absorb sound.
  • Acoustic materials have been used on
    ceiling, and carpets have been used on the floor
    to help reduce noise from rain, sound
    reverberation and human traffic.

  • ii) AUDIO VISUAL
  • Public Address system installed is very powerful.
  • Bible illustrations, songs etc are easily
    projected and clearly visible from every point
    of the auditorium

  • iii) HEAT GAIN THROUGH THE ROOF.
  • Insulation materials have been used to reduce
    heat gain from the roof

  • iv) NOISE REDUCTION.
  •  
  • ROOF/RAIN Acoustic materials have been used to
    reduce noise caused by the rain.
  • FLOORS Special floor finishing materials and
    carpets have been used to reduce noise caused by
    human traffic.

  • V) PHYSICALLY CHALLANGED PEOPLE.
  • Lifts are installed to serve the auditorium and
    the 12 storey tower.
  • Special toilets are provided.
  • Ramps are provided at the main entrance.

  • vi)FIRE AND SAFETY MEASURES.
  • Metal barriers or railings have been used on the
    foyer, staircases, ramps and balconies to offer
    protection.
  • Dry risers and fire extinguishers have been
    installed in case of fire.
  • Provision for Security cameras are installed to
    provide security

  • vii)SOLAR POWER.
  • Power rationing in the country is a problem. The
    design has provided an alternative solar power
    back up that can run the audio visual system and
    Emergency lighting for up to 3 hrs.

  • viii) LIGHT.
  • Design Maintenance /adjustments and
    sustainability of different lighting points is
    achieved by the catwalk design.
  • Stage Lighting Heavy and professional to cater
    for all kinds of lighting needs for dramas,
    plays, Praise and worship e.t.c.

4.0 COST.
  • We thank God that through, members of the church
    have been on the forefront in giving contribution
    towards the construction of such a massive
    structure where the estimated total cost is Tsh.
    8 billion.
  •  
  • So far Tsh. 4.5 billion have been used up to this
    stage of construction.
  •  
  • Break down of the contributions.
  •  
  • Tsh. 2.5 billion was contributed by members of
    the church.
  • Tsh 1.5 billion was contributed by non Members
    which includes loans.
  • Tsh. 0.5 billion was contributed by the Tanzania
    Government in form of tax waiver.
  •  
  • 4.2 Break down of the projection of remaining
    works .
  • Tsh 2 billion will be needed to complete the
    tower frame work up to 12th floor.
  • Tsh 1.5 billion will be used in Electrical,
    Mechanical and other Services works.

5.0 EXPERTISE.
  • Local expertise has been used in the design and
    construction of this ultra modern
    state-of-the-art facility.
  • This includes

  • Quantity Surveyors. ----Pro consult Ltd
  • And Contractors. ----Afrig Engineering
    Construction co. Lt.d
  • Most materials used for construction are locally
    available.

6.0 conclusion.
  • Car parking needs to be expanded to cater for
    1,000 cars.
