Advice (1)

• You may use PowerPoint or acetates. Whatever you
  use, please ensure that you use the slides
  wisely. Marks may be gained for judicious use of
  these aids, but may be lost through inappropriate
  use.
• The timing is crucial. You will gain marks for
  being well-structured and keeping to time, but
  lose marks for being too short or over-long.
• You should provide the tutor with some printed
  material. This could be a copy of your slides,
  lecture notes or handouts.

• The Internet
• Further to this, you should use the library for
  additional textual sources, including periodicals
  and journals.
• The best presentations will draw on a variety of
  sources, and reference all material carefully,
  using the guidelines given.

• The presentations will occur during the session
  on 15th October.
• If you are absent through illness, you should
  supply medical evidence, otherwise you will incur
  standard college penalties.
