EMERGENCY PLAN
  • DEFINITION a written document that defines the
    standard of care for every conceivable event
    during an emergency on the practice or playing
    field.
  • Stand operating procedures must be explicit, the
    scope of coverage must be specified, and
    appropriate medical records identified and
    prepared.
  • A thorough emergency plan will insure the athlete
    receives appropriate care quickly.
