- Must be included in the lineup card.

- All subsequent pitchers included in lineup cards.

here.

Note Pitcher is NOT considered a defensive
position for substitution purposes.
6Rule 7(2)(c)(1)
Manager comes to you and tells you that his
pitcher, Hipp (original pitcher), will move to
right field and Samuels will now come in to
pitch. He also tells you that Johnson will now
go into the DH spot.
Samuels, T.
1
Note The DH is terminated because the pitcher
moved to a defensive position, so Johnson cannot
enter the game.
Hipp, C.
If the manager only gives you those changes, the
new pitcher bats in the DH spot. If he makes
more than one change (not including the pitcher
going to RF) then he must tell you where he is
placing them in the order. This can only be done
on defense.
7Rule 7(2)(c)(1)
Same as previous slide except in addition to
changes already given to you, the manager also
tells you
Donaldson, M.

- Sharp is moving from center to left,
- Kennedy is in to play center and will be hitting
for Cresson, and
Samuels, T.
1
- Donaldson is going to 2nd Base and will be
hitting for Smith, the left fielder.
Hipp, C.
Since the manager made at least two changes on
defense, in addition to the pitcher going to
right field, he must tell you who each of them
are replacing in the lineup, so you can put them
in the proper batting order.
