WORKING ON YOUR ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY WEBQUEST

If You Work Outside of Class

• Make sure that you have saved your Netscape
  Composer file (your webquest) on a floppy disk
  because you need to work from the floppy if you
  work outside of the lab.
• LOAD YOUR FLOPPY DISK INTO THE COMPUTER.
• Open up Netscape.

Loading Your File

• Go to File and open up your file on the floppy.
• This should load the page into Netscape
• Now go up to File and select edit page
• Now you can edit this webquest that youve been
  working on in class.

Changing Your File

• Once you have opened your file in Netscape
  Composer, then start to work on your file.
• Remember, that if you place your cursor on an
  icon, it will tell you what that icon does like
  change font size, adding a graphic, or linking
  your type to a web site.

The Assignment

• Your annotated bibliography of webquests should
  have at least four webquests on it.
• You need to link the title of each of your
  webquests, in the table, to the actual Internet
  link by using the anchor button which looks like
  a link of chain

• You need to look for an authors name
• Please include the e-mail address if you can find
  it
• You need to rate your site by the evaluation tool
  that we used in class
• Record your numerical evaluation in the third
  column

ASSIGNMENT (CONTINUED)

• In the comments column, please give at least five
  comments that show both positive and negative
  aspects of the webquest.
• Keep it simple and clear.

Saving Your File

• Once you have made your changes, then go up to
  file and choose save.
• It should save it right back to where you opened
  up the file from, which is your floppy.
• Dont forget to bring your floppy to class on
  Tuesday, Dec. 2nd!

• If you have any trouble with Netscape Composer,

• Just go to this site and see if your questions
  are answered there
• I will be checking my e-mail this next weekend,
  if you want to e-mail me with questions.
• Remember, we will have Tues. and Thurs. to work

  Thurs.
