Root Support at Fermilab

3rd ROOT Workshop
  • First Workshop at Fermilab in March 1999
  • Followed the recommendation by the CDF, DO, CD
    joint working group to adopt ROOT as the standard
    physics analysis package for RUN II
  • Second Workshop at CERN in Feb. 2000
  • Follow-up work led to ROOT v3.0
  • Third Workshop -- June 2001
  • Another opportunity for the developers to meet to
    the ROOT user community
  • Formulate a vision for future ROOT development
