Where are the Hawaiian Islands?

• Hawaii is a chain of islands in the middle of the
  Pacific OceanFormed by a volcanic Hotspot
• Only the islands in this map graphic are
  populated

How many islands make up The Island chain of
Hawaii?

• Hawaii is a long island chain, stretching many
  miles
• Only some of the islands have human populations
• The Islands on the right side of this map,
  (within the dashed lines) are those that are
  developed and have people living on themand
  those are the islands on the previous map on
  slide 2.

The Island of Oahu, Hawaii

• The Island of Oahu is considered the main island
  of the chain (Pictured in map).
• The capital of Honolulu is on Oahu, as well as
  Pearl Harbor
• Oahu is where I went on vacation (Pictured in
  background is Waikiki, and also, Diamond Head).

• The Atlantis Submarine Fleet
• There are 2, multi-million dollar submarines in
  the fleet
• The larger one holds about 60 people, the smaller
  one, about 45.
• I rode on the smaller submarine twice

• Pros
• Great unforgettable experience
• See part of the world that you have never seen
  before
• Enjoy some of the best beaches and beautiful
  sunsets that life has to offer
• Cons
• Everything from gas, lodging, and food is very
  expensive
• Airline Ticket prices can go over 1,000, if not
  purchased ahead of time
• It takes a few days to get over your Jet-Lag
  from the time difference
