25END-OF-YEAR LPAC EXIT PROCEDURES
- 1.Once students have met the exit criteria, the
LPAC must formally exit them from the program.
(Grades 1 12) - 2.Reclassification conducted during the annual
review must reflect an exit date as of the day
after the last class day of the current school
year (6/05/09). - 3.Reclassification conducted during this past
school year will reflect an exit date as of the
LPAC meeting date.

- 4.The students parents must be notified in
writing of this action. (Use form 8-5) - 5.The exit forms must be returned to the school
and filed in the students Special Programs
Folder. Handout 6 - 6.The exit date must be documented on the LPAC
minutes (form 8-25) and entered in Student Plus. - 7.Appropriate entries must be made on the
students Special Programs Folder.

- 8.Campuses may begin updating the Student Plus
Texas PEIMS screens on the first day of classes
for the school year 2009-2010. - 9.Monitored (M1 M2) students may remain in the
Bilingual or ESL classes at parents request
provided that all other LEP students at that same
grade level on that campus are receiving the
required instructional program. Students who
have been exited formally, however, must not be
counted for state funding.

members signatures.
