Stanley's Trip to St. Louis Missouri
2
Introduction
  • Hello, my name is Nick Payne and I am Andrews
uncle. I live in St. Louis and attend
Chiropractic College. While Stanley was here we
did a lot of fun stuff. Stanley wanted to make a
special presentation to tell everyone at home
about his trip. So take it over Stanley.

3
Where I Stayed
  • Here is a picture of Nicks house. It was a nice
place to stay while I toured St. Louis.

4
My First Adventure
  • Ill tell you what, just driving out here is an
adventure. When I arrived Nick was heading to the
store for some groceries so I decided to go along
with him. If you think traffic is bad in
Florence, you should see it out here.

5
My First Adventure
  • There is one thing you have to do every time you
get in a car out here. BUCKLE UP!!

6
My Tour Of St. Louis
  • After I got buckled in Nick showed me around
Ballwin Missouri. That is where he lives, it is
about 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.

7
My Trip Downtown
  • One day Nick and I decided to go downtown. There
is a lot of fun stuff to do downtown. WE started
    at the Gateway Arch.

8
The Arch
  • This is a really cool place. The arch is 630 feet
tall and has a whole museum underneath it.
Construction was completed on October 28, 1965.
Since that time over One Million visitors a year
have traveled to the top to look out over the
    city of St. Louis.

The Arch At Night
10
Some Other Sights
  • After the Arch Nick wanted to show me where the
St. Louis Blues hockey team play, The Savvis
    Center.

11
Some Other Sights
  • Next we went to the home of the St. Louis Rams.
The Edwards Jones Dome is located downtown, just
a few blocks from the Arch. This is where the
    Rams play football on Sundays.

12
Some Other Sights
  • The St. Louis Zoo is located in Forest Park. A
huge park in the middle of downtown. Forest Park
was the sight of the 1904 Worlds Fair. Also
located in Forest Park is the St. Louis Science
Center, Art Museum and History Museum.

Some Other Sights
  • Finally we stopped by The Hard Rock Café. It is
located in the old train station called Union
Terminal. There is a huge mall and a hotel
    located here as well.

15
Logan College of Chiropractic
  • Here is where Nick says he spends a lot of his
time. This is where he goes to school to be a
    chiropractor.

16
Logan College Of Chiropractic
  • The school is set on a beautiful campus in a
suburb of St. Louis. Its fall time and the trees
are starting to change and they are very pretty.

17
Logan College Of Chiropractic
  • Here is the clinic where the students practice
    before they graduate.

18
My Trip is Almost Over
  • Well I guess it had to come to an end sometime.
My trip to St. Louis was really fun and I learned
a lot. I hope this slide show was entertaining
because I had fun making it. Nick and I took some
other pictures and picked up some brochures which
I will bring home with me.

19
My Trip is Almost Over
  • Nick helped me find some links on the internet if
anyone wants to explore the arch or St. Louis
    some more.
