Transportation announced it will expand from
seven to ten subcommittees with one-half of the
subcommittees having jurisdiction over NOAA
programs. - Subcommittee on Science and Space NESDIS

NMFS except for reauthorization of the
Magnuson-Stevens Act which will be handled by the

some opposition, eventually acceded to most of
changes.In House, NOAAs funding subcommittee
has been renamed the Science, State, Justice and
Commerce Subcommittee. - In the Senate, the funding subcommittee has been
renamed the Commerce, Justice and Science
Subcommittee.
