Goals Objectives of APLANG

• Help students become skilled readers of a variety
  of written works
• Provide students with opportunities to
  demonstrate an awareness of audience and purpose
• Enable students to write effectively and
  confidently in college and personal life
• Prepare students for the AP exam

Weighing the pros cons

• Very good college preparatory course

The students perspective

• AP Lang is definitely a step up from English 10
  but Mrs. Simmons has become one of my favorite
  teachers she made the transition a smooth one. I
  look forward to the class because I know its a
  place where I can share my ideas and opinions.
