    their servers, but NKU owns all data

Current Status
  • Digital Measures has delivered the system
    configured to our initial specifications
  • Additional testing/verification is continuing to
    occur
  • Clerical assistance is being hired to assist with
    initial data entry for faculty vitae info and
    fall teaching schedules supporting the fall 2007
    rollout

    requirements provided earlier this year from
    coordinating committee members

Implementation Schedule
  • Rollout Phase I (completed in October)
  • System undergoes final testing and any major
    problems are corrected
  • Student workers are hired and do initial data
    entry using faculty vitae to support fall SACS
    reporting
  • Faculty are notified to review data entered by
    student workers and make any necessary
    corrections
  • Department chairs are notified of the process and
    timing for verifying faculty credentials and
    writing description of other qualifications for
    SACS
  • SACS Office runs Faculty Roster reports using
    Digital Measures (DM) system

Implementation Schedule
  • Rollout Phase II (completed by end of fall
    semester)
  • Training materials and consultations are provided
    for faculty and staff
  • Remaining vitae and other information is entered
    into DM by faculty and/or department
    administrative staff
  • Faculty and staff suggest possible modifications
    to DM system and departments request additional
    reports they would like to have built using DM

Implementation Schedule
  • Rollout Phase III (begins with spring semester)
  • System is used by all faculty/department chairs
    to report scheduled teaching, attach syllabi,
    enter information needed for Faculty Roster forms
  • Faculty use DM to prepare faculty activity
    reports for annual performance review
  • Outreach and public engagement data reports are
    generated using DM

Digital Measures Availability
  • Production system is live now but still being
    tested and readied for initial data entry by
    students workers
  • Faculty should refrain from entry of data until
    further notification (but no need to delete data
    that faculty may have already put in)
  • Log-in will be your NKU username and password
  • There is a link to the tool from the SACS site
