UNFCCC 7 - Worldwide of which 3 are from
LAC Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay
CC Support - US 3 million to assist countries
in producing Natl Communications - Workshops -
Technical assistance and backstopping - Exchange

CC support is programmed to start in August 1998.

GEF financing initiated in late 94 with small
of proposing countries Argentina, USA, followed
by Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica and Chile

• 7 contries worlwide have submitted
  National Communications
• 3 of these are from LAC Argentina, Mexico,
  Uruguay
