Summary and Future Work

• NECP GRIB2 data ( 78 variables for exchange) has
  been scheduled for implementation Jan. 2009 (?)
• CMC GRIB2 format data
• Use the same product identifiers in code and
  table as NCEP
• Works with NCEP inventory software
• CMC data processes in NCEP software develop
• Convert to GRIB1 format data for next step bias
  correction and maintain NAEFS data processes
• Output CMC ensemble post products in both GRIB1
  and GRIB2
• Waiting for GFS-Post to encode GRIB2 directly
• We will use CMC GRIB2 data directly
• No additional data format conversion
