Description
  • The FACTS Document Delivery Module makes it
    possible to provide key documents via printed,
    faxed or emailed formats based on the preference
    of each customer or vendor. The method of
    delivery is determined automatically each time a
    batch of documents is printed.
  • The pre-defined documents are Invoices,
    Statements, Dunning Letters, Pick Tickets, Quotes
    and Purchase Orders. The design facilitates
    additional documents to be added by the
    affiliate.
  • Whether printed, faxed or emailed, all documents
    are created using UnForm. This provides a
    professional and consistent appearance. If
    emailed, the document arrives as a PDF
    attachment.
  • This functionality is achieved with zero
    modifications to standard FACTS print programs,
    only metadata additions for the F/M programs in
    7.x versions.

Each Document Type has parameters to define in
Document Control F/M. This is for Statements.
Click on Internal Copies to Continue.
This is additional information for Emails.
Email attachment can be Text or PDF (Adobe
Acrobat) format.
The time to fax can be controlled.

Audit Copies can be printed. Also, an email can
be delivered after a batch is processed
containing audit information such as Number of
documents processed and how each one was
delivered.
Click on Exit to Continue.

The next step is to set up Document Routing
preferences for each Customer/Vendor. Click on
the Doc Routing button from Customer F/M.

Each Document Type can be tailored for each
Customer/Vendor.
Any combination of P-Printing, F-Faxing and
E-Emailing can be selected.
Click Save to Continue.

At print time, select Print Options.

How it Works
  • The FACTS Document Delivery system processes the
    documents and delivers them based on the
    Customer/Vendor preferences that have been
    predefined
  • UnForm is used to format documents, providing a
    professional and consistent appearance. If
    emailed, the document arrives as a PDF attachment.
