What is the Professional Careers Test?
  • General entry level test for college grads
  • No specific degree or experience required
  • Generally given every four years
  • Used to fill over 50 different titles
  • A few hundred appointments from list
  • Most appointments from top of list
  • Some locations may appoint from further down the
    list

What does the PCT Cover?
  • Cognitive test - written, multiple choice
  • Four subject areas 15 questions each
  • Preparing written material
  • Understanding and interpreting written material
    related to government and social issues
  • Quantitative analysis (tab)
  • Verbal analysis (logic)
