  • Existing storm drain outfall serves 1250-acre
    watershed
  • Last pipe segment is flat
  • Discharges to bottom of channel
  • Area upstream has chronic street flooding during
    high creek levels

Storm drains cannot drain when the creek level is
higher than the water level in the pipelines

Pump stations allow runoff to drain to the creeks
even when the creek levels are higher than the
surrounding ground
