2Motion to Approve the Priority Setting Chapter
- The SMTD Committee moves that the HPPC approve
the Priority Setting chapter for inclusion in the
2010 San Francisco HIV Prevention Plan.
3Chapter Purpose
- To outline the priority populations for HIV
prevention funding in San Francisco based on
local epidemiologic data. - The chapter complements the Community Assessment
chapter. - The HPPC uses a blend of data analysis and
community values to determine priorities, which
are described throughout the chapter.
4Details of HPPC Involvement
- December 2007
- HPPC approved moving from 8 BRPs to 5 BRPs
- HPPC approved the concept of the Priority Setting
Considerations Box - December 2008
- HPPC approved criteria for Drivers
- HPPC approved all BRPs except placement of
Transmales who have sex with Males - March 2009
- HPPC approved including Transmales who have sex
