Announcements

• Instructors now have the option of sending an
  e-mail when creating or modifying an
  announcement.

Email

• Instructors can email students only.
• Instructors can receive Return Receipts.
• A spell check option is now at the bottom of the
  message text box.

Assessment and Gradebook

• Tests can be set to unlimited attempts or a
  specified number of attempts.
• The Gradebook can record the last attempt, first
  attempt, highest score, lowest score, or an
  average of all scores.
• Questions may be designated as "Extra Credit."

Early Warning System

• Communicates warnings to students about a
  performance problem.
• Identifies students meeting one of these rules
• Grade Rule performing equal to or below a
  certain level on a specific item.
• Due Date did not complete Blackboard Assignments
  or Assessments by due date.
• Last Access the last time a Student accessed the
  course online.

Schedule an Appointment

• Accessed through Tools on the Navigation Bar
• Instructors set up their hours first
• Students can schedule appointments within that
  time frame.
