Deleting Incomplete IDC Journal Entries

• All IDC journal entries must be in COMPLETE
  status by the last work day of each month.
• The Comptrollers office will delete any
  incomplete IDC journal entries at the end of the
  month.
• If an IDC journal entry that is deleted by the
  Comptrollers office should have been processed,
  the user will need to reenter it in Banner and it
  will processed in a subsequent month.

Deleting Incomplete IDC Journal Entries

• Users should verify all IDC journal entries are
  in COMPLETE status at the end of each month by
  reviewing the FOADOCU form.
• Any IDCs that cannot be completed by the end of
  the last workday of the month should be deleted
  by the user.

• Any incomplete journal entries will be identified
  on the FOADOCU form with a status of I.

Deleting Incomplete IDC Journal Entries

• To delete an incomplete IDC journal entry, access
  the FGAJVCQ (Journal Voucher Quick form) in
  Banner INB.
• Enter the journal voucher in the Document Number
  field and perform a Next Block function.

Deleting Incomplete IDC Journal Entries

• Go to the RECORD menu and select REMOVE from the
  menu options.
• Repeat Step 3 to confirm deletion of the journal
  entry.
• A pop up window appears that says All header and
  detail records will be deleted. Select the OK
  button to delete the IDC journal entry. The
  following message will appear at the bottom of
  the screen
• NOTE Only In Process Journal entries can be
  deleted.
