    lighting, sound mixing, script writing, video
    editing etc.

Management of a student production team
  • Students will be supervised jointly by the
    library media specialist technology teacher.
  • 2 people who are the TALENT or on air people, 1
    CAMERA person, 1 SOUND person and 1 WEATHER
    person. We rotate 5 students every 2 weeks from
    each class. Each person spends 2 days at each
    position so that at the end of 2 weeks they have
    had a chance at each role.

  • 1 person is the talent floor manager and is
    responsible for training the talent and weather
    students on speaking with a microphone, looking
    into the camera, body language and overall
    appearance.
  • 1 student who is the equipment manager and trains
    the camera and sound people on use of the
    equipment, knowing which buttons to push or not
    use and how to operate everything.

    and put the equipment away for me every morning.
  • who ever is responsible for the TV studio should
    have some TV studio planning time to work with
    the kids, equipment ordering, pre-taping segments
    and whatever else needs to be done.
