Narrowband Digital Radio System (NDRS)

• Replaces traditional Rural Telephone Links which
  had limited capability.
• Well suited for extending Voice, Fax, Email and
  Internet from the central office to remote
  location
• Comes in one box No need of separate
  Multiplexer or Router
• Covers 300, 400,1400 and 2000MHz bands.

Selected Vendor/Models

• After competitive bidding a New Zealand based
  company 4RF was selected to supply the NDRS for
  DPKO under a System Contract (PD/CO/170/04)
• The system contract with 4RF covers two models
• Aprisa SE
• Aprisa XE

• Supports mix of interfaces
• Fractional E1 - Up to 1200 kbps
• Ethernet
• Combination of analogue voice/fax circuits
• Available in 300, 400 and 1400 MHz bands
• Approx. cost for a complete link with standard
  DPKO configuration US 12,800.00

• Fractional E1, E1 (up to 4 E1s)
