• Mixed mode distance learning supported by
  face-to-face teaching
• 12 Units 4 in Stage I and 8 in Stage II (25
  credits each unit in total 300 credits)
• Eight 3-hour sessions for each unit
• Four from visiting Curtin Lecturer
• Four from local instructor

• Three trimesters (and intakes) each year
• Trimester 1 (from early Mar to late Jun)
• Trimester 2 (from early Aug to late Nov)
• Trimester 3 (from early Dec to late Feb)

Assessment

• Assessment includes assignments and final
  end-of-term examinations.
• In some units, there is also a mid-term

• Application fee is HK150
• Free for true copy certification
• Fee for 2001/02 academic year is AUD 1,200 per
  unit, includes
• Course materials (textbook excluded)
• Lectures
• Examinations
• Foundation units, if delivered by distance mode,
  will be charged at AUD900 each.
• Free for exempted units

• Lectures and examinations are usually arranged in
  LiPACE (Shun Tak Centre) and centres near the MTR
  stations
• All assignments are submitted to LiPACE
