About Diaz

• November 20th is the anniversary of the Mexican
  Revolution.
• Benito Juarez became president during the
  war.
• In 1876 General Porfirio Diaz overthrew Benito
  and became president.
• Porfirio has done many great things like
  infrastructure.
• But he was awful to them and they were often
  tortured to death.

• Francisco Madero was an intelligent, well
  educated man with liberal ideas.
• Even though Diaz threw him in jail he quickly
  became popular.
• Madero lead the Mexican Revolution against Diaz.
• Madero was put in jail again in San Antonio,
  Texas .
• His plan was already falling in place.

• The Mexican Revolution was fiercest Mexican war
  ever.
• The Mexican Revolution didnt last long.
• Diaz died in 1915 ,in France.
• The most brutal part of the Mexican Revolution
  was the civil war.
• Emiliano Zapata helped lead the revolution.
