REPSSI STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
  • To develop knowledge in the application of
    psychosocial care and support (SO1)
  • To facilitate skill and information exchange on
    psychosocial care and support ( SO2)
  • To strengthen the capacity of governments, civil
    society and other institutions to respond to
    psychosocial needs of children affected by HIV
    and AIDS, poverty and conflict (SO3)
  • To strengthen the monitoring and evaluation
    system of REPSSI and partners (SO4)

    issue of mainstreaming was not pronounced.

ORIENTATION WITH GOVT DEPT
  • courtesy calls to govt dept by REPSSI staff
    every time they visit a country
  • Usually a day or day and a half.
  • Each partner shares what they do in relation to
    PSS.
  • Participants also go through the Tree of Life
  • (a personal SWOT analysis as a way to prepare for
    the next session)
  • SWOT analysis for the department or ministry.
  • Planning issues (often the next half day).
