Types

• External
• Produces many young at a time (more than 150).
  Usually occurs in water so that gamates dont dry
  out and can move (swim) to egg. Many young die.
• Internal
• Produces fairly small amount of young at a time.
  Usually involves sex organs to combine gamates.
  Any womb or egg (shell) laying organism
