Introduction to the Pocket PC
Pickup a Pocket PC from its docking cradle on the
distribution cart. When finished, return the
Pocket PC to its docking cradle.
Make sure that the wireless network card is
firmly seated in the Pocket PC.

Locate the pen at the top of the Pocket PC and
remove it
Turn on the Pocket PC and use the pen to make
selections and launch programs. Use only the
Pocket PC pen, not a pencil or ball-point pen.

Using the Pen
Single-tap program names or icons to open them.
Tap-and-hold to bring up context sensitive menus
for special operations.
Reset
Press the reset button if the computer appears to
be locked up or will not make a network
connection.

Using the Task Menu
tap-and-hold in this area to launch the Task Menu
program actions
select a currently running program
- Minimize send the current program to the
background
- Close close the current program
- Close All close all open programs
- Close All Inactive close all open programs
that are not currently processing data
- Today return to the Today screen
